Festival Court, Home Office, Emergency building works

After a protest in which a gate and brick wall was destroyed at a Home Office site in Glasgow we attended as an emergency callout to secure the gateway with lockable temporary fencing and arrange for building works to be carried out to repair the damage done. We stripped the gate and all metal work attached and worked alongside our building contractor 'Cosmetic Construction' to strip the brick & mortar back to where it was structurally secure. From there the pier was built back up to original height & filled with cement & steel rebar to ensure this problem couldn't happen again. All brickwork was left for 7 days to ensure completely cured before the heavy duty security gate was re-hung and all metalwork reconnected.
