Boots the Chemist, Lightweight Fire Blanket

We installed a lightweight 30 minute fire barrier from the top of an existing partition to the soffit, all joints were stapled & folded. As the soffit was corrugated metal we fixed our track to the lower part and filled all gaps with Rockwool FireBat. Due to the partitions of this room being MDF, the main aim of this fire blanket wasn't so much fire protection, but thermal and acoustic insulation. This was fixed with double track at the top & edges and single track to the partition to ensure it being secure and air tight.
